I bought this range from Johnny about 8 years ago and have been so happy with it. it works great. we are remodeling our kitchen and now don't have room for it any longer. Over the years I have gotten so many compliments about this range - it's a real eye catcher and a welcome bit of authentic living history in this age of plastic and planned obsolescence.
All the insides were rebuilt and a modern safety added. It's very usable. We cook alot.
The burners all have an optional cast iron cover that helps produce an even, simmering, heat. All burners have very large burners - equivalent to professional ranges costing much more.
